DeepSign On-Premise is an advanced digital signature solution that allows full control over documents and data within the company environment, ensuring that documents never leave the work platform. The digital signature is generated by calculating the document’s hash locally. This hash is then sent to a certification authority for signing. The resulting digital signature is returned and applied to the document, which remains at all times within the company infrastructure.
Once generated, the digital signature is embedded in the document along with the signer’s certificate information and, if applicable, a qualified timestamp, in compliance with legally and technically recognised standards.
The validation of the digital signature is a critical step that the DeepSign system can perform independently. It verifies the certificate chain, checks revocation status through protocols such as OCSP or CRL lists, and ensures compliance with trusted lists, such as those defined by regulations like eIDAS in Europe or ZertES in Switzerland.
